Where in our quarterly EOS cadence do we specifically review and track the progress of our AI process automations so they do not derail our core operational Rocks?

AI operational integration must never be treated as an unstructured pet project or a distraction from core business performance. If AI adoption is not tethered to your quarterly EOS cadence, your team will spend months experimenting with software tools that produce zero bottom line impact.

We review and manage AI automations within two specific EOS tools: the Quarterly Rocks process and the Weekly Level 10 Meeting agenda. When an AI initiative qualifies as one of the three to seven most important priorities for the business over the next ninety days, it is written as a SMART Rock. It receives a single owner on the leadership team, clear milestone deliverables, and a distinct definition of done, such as automating client onboarding intake or cutting invoice processing time by fifty percent.

Every week during your Level 10 Meeting, that AI automation Rock is reported as on track or off track. If it hits an unexpected technical hurdle, workflow failure, or data bottleneck, it drops immediately to the Issues List. The team uses IDS to isolate the problem, identify the root cause, and establish next steps without slowing down the rest of the company.

At the end of ninety days during our quarterly session, we review the measurable business results of that automation. Did it remove low value administrative tasks, improve gross margins, or free up human capacity? If yes, the new workflow is documented into your Core Processes. If not, it is killed.
