We recently automated parts of our customer service and data entry using AI agents, but our team is unsure how to track their performance on our EOS Scorecard. What weekly numbers monitor autonomous AI workflows?
When you deploy AI agents to handle customer inquiries, process claims, or draft deliverables, you cannot leave their performance unmonitored. More importantly, an AI system cannot sit on the Accountability Chart. A human seat must own the AI tools and be held accountable for their weekly performance on the Scorecard.
To maintain operational control over autonomous AI workflows, track these three weekly measurables:
- Human escalation rate. Measure the percentage of automated interactions or tasks that the AI fails to resolve and hands off to a human operator. A sudden spike indicates workflow drift, model degradation, or broken integrations.
- Weekly audit failure rate. Have the human seat owner conduct a weekly spot-check of 20 to 50 randomly sampled AI outputs evaluated against quality standards. Track the percentage of sampled tasks that required manual correction.
- AI throughput volume. Track the total volume of discrete tasks processed fully autonomously by the AI infrastructure each week to verify system capacity and adoption.
These metrics ensure that AI productivity gains do not come at the expense of output quality or client satisfaction. If the human escalation rate or audit failure rate turns red, your leadership team can IDS the issue immediately before automated errors cause client churn or compliance liabilities.
