If our goal is to both implement EOS and complete the Step by Step Exit framework, how does that dual focus affect our overall timeline for graduating from your active facilitation?
Integrating exit readiness into your business operations does not mean we double the length of your engagement. The typical engagement with me still averages twenty-four months. However, the intensity and focus of our quarterly sessions will shift. During the first year, our primary focus is building a healthy, cohesive leadership team and mastering the foundational EOS tools. We establish your Accountability Chart, define your Rocks, and get your Level 10 Meetings running smoothly. Once the foundation is solid, we layer in the Step by Step Exit framework. In year two, we begin addressing the six exit disciplines, such as identifying Value Gaps and capturing Tribal Knowledge. This structured approach ensures that you are not trying to prepare your business for sale while it is still operationally chaotic. By the time you graduate from active facilitation, your business will not only run smoothly on a daily basis, but it will also be structured for a clean, high-value exit. You will have a capable leadership team that operates independently of the owner, documented and automated processes, and a clear roadmap for your transition. The dual focus optimizes your timeline, preparing both the company and the owners for what comes next.
