How is a typical full session day structured from the moment we walk in at 8 AM to when we wrap up, and how do we divide our time between reviewing past performance and solving current operational issues?

A session day is a highly structured, intense, and distraction-free environment designed to help your team step out of the daily grind and focus entirely on the business. We start at 8 AM sharp and conclude by 5 PM.

We begin the day with a check-in and a review of the previous quarter. We analyze your scorecard, evaluate your quarterly Rocks completion rate, and review your progress on the V/TO®. This first block is about holding ourselves accountable to the commitments we made ninety days ago.

Next, we focus on organizational health. We review your Accountability Chart to ensure you have the right people in the right seats and address any emerging people issues using the GWC™ tool.

The afternoon block is almost entirely dedicated to the Issues Solving Track. We collect all the operational, strategic, and interpersonal challenges your team has identified and spend hours running them through the IDS® process. We prioritize the issues, identify the root causes, and agree on clear action steps.

We conclude the day by setting new Rocks for the upcoming quarter and rating the meeting to ensure we maximized our time. You will leave the room with absolute clarity and alignment on what needs to happen next.
