What is the physical and cognitive structure of our session day, and how do you protect our thinking time so we do not end up with decision fatigue?

A session day is a highly structured, intense experience designed to maximize your team's collective intelligence. We do not just sit in a room and talk. We actively build your business operating system. The day starts at 8:30 a.m. sharp and runs until 5:00 p.m. It is divided into clear segments: check-in, reviewing past performance, resolving deep issues, and setting future priorities.

To combat the inevitable cognitive decline that comes with high-stakes decision-making, we build structured white space into the schedule. This means we take planned, strategic pauses throughout the day to let your brain reboot. We protect your thinking time by separating the day into periods of intense contribution and brief periods of mental recovery.

During the session, I act as your facilitator, teacher, and coach. My job is to keep us on track and prevent the team from diving into microscopic operational details. We focus strictly on the macro level. We use the IDS® process to identify, discuss, and solve issues permanently. By the end of the day, you will have complete clarity on your priorities for the next ninety days, without the mental exhaustion that usually accompanies long strategic meetings.
