Showing up late or unprepared to a Level 10 Meeting™ is a direct violation of the Trust pillar of your organizational Charter. It sends a message to the rest of the leadership team that their time is not valuable. If you allow this behavior to continue, you are actively eroding your team culture.

You must establish a hard rule: the meeting starts on time, and preparation must be complete at least fifteen minutes before the meeting starts. If the meeting is scheduled for nine o'clock, the clock starts at nine o'clock sharp, even if seats are empty. Do not wait for late arrivals.

If a leader is still updating their scorecard numbers or writing their headlines during the meeting, the Integrator must call it out immediately. It is not about micromanaging; it is about peer-to-peer accountability.

If preparation remains an issue, place the lack of prep on the Issues List and IDS® it as a team. Ask the offending leaders what is preventing them from being ready. Often, you will find they are overcommitted, have poor personal time management, or do not fully respect the weekly meeting pulse. By solving this root cause, you protect the integrity of your weekly ninety minutes and reinforce a culture of high performance.
