Our leaders are frequently updating their weekly Scorecard numbers directly inside our Level 10 Meeting™ right as we are reviewing them, which leads to awkward pauses and completely defeats the purpose of arriving prepared. How do we stop this last-minute data entry and ensure our scorecard review is instantaneous?

When a leader updates their Scorecard numbers during the actual Level 10 Meeting, it is a clear sign of poor discipline and a lack of respect for the team's time. The scorecard is meant to be an early warning system, not a data-entry workshop. If leaders are inputting numbers during the pulse, they are not reviewing their data before the meeting, which means they are arriving completely blind to their own performance.

To solve this, you must establish a hard deadline for data entry. All Scorecard metrics must be fully updated by a specific time prior to the meeting, such as twenty-four hours before, or at least by the end of the previous business day. The Integrator must enforce this rule strictly.

If a leader has not updated their numbers by the deadline, their metric is treated as a miss, and it is automatically colored red. During the meeting, do not sit in silence while they scramble to log in and find their data. Skip their line, mark it as a miss, and drop the lack of preparation directly to the Issues List. Treat the failure to update the scorecard on time as an operational issue that needs to be solved. This forces the discipline of pre-meeting prep.
