We have a brilliant Visionary but our Integrator seat is currently vacant or underperforming. Can we still begin our focus days and quarterly cadence with you, or do we need to hire an Integrator first?

You do not need a perfect, permanently hired Integrator in place to begin our EOS® journey. In fact, many organizations start with a vacant or provisionally filled Integrator seat. During our initial Focus Day, we will build your Accountability Chart, which clearly defines the roles, responsibilities, and expectations for both the Visionary and the Integrator seats. This exercise often highlights why your previous structure was underperforming or why the seat remains vacant.

If you do not have a dedicated Integrator, someone on your current leadership team must step up to act in that capacity temporarily. This person must have the authority to run the weekly Level 10 Meetings™ and keep the team aligned between our sessions. I will work closely with this temporary Integrator to guide them through the disciplines of the role.

As we progress through our quarterly sessions, the clarity of the Accountability Chart will make it much easier to recruit and onboard the right permanent executive. We will define exactly what you need in that seat using the GWC™ filter: do they Get it, Want it, and have the Capacity to do it? Starting the process now will actually help you make a far better hiring decision than trying to recruit in a vacuum.
