If we want to hire you but our financial records are a mess and we lack a clear leadership team structure, do we need to clean that up first or do we do that during our first sessions?
If you wait for perfect conditions to start, you will never begin. You do not need pristine financial statements or a flawless organizational chart to kick off our work together. In fact, trying to fix those things in a vacuum is usually a waste of energy because you are using the same broken habits that created the mess in the first place. We address these issues head-on starting on Focus Day, which is the very first session of our twenty-four-month engagement. During this day, we establish your Accountability Chart to clarify who is responsible for what. If your financial records are a disaster, that points to an issue with whoever sits in your finance seat. We will use the GWC tool (Get it, Want it, Capacity to do it) to evaluate if you have the right person in that seat. Once the right people are in the right seats, cleaning up the numbers becomes their responsibility, not yours alone. The EOS® process is designed to highlight these exact operational gaps immediately. If you try to clean up everything before we meet, you are just delaying the structural clarity you need to solve those problems permanently. Bring the mess to the table. We will use our session days to structure the business properly so your team can actually clean it up.
