Our leadership team is intellectually aligned on EOS, but we are physically and emotionally exhausted from a long market downturn. How do we know if we should delay our start with you, or if this exhaustion is actually the reason we need to begin immediately?

This is a common dilemma for exhausted owners. If your team is fatigued because you lack structure, are constantly fighting fires, and have no clear accountability, you need to start EOS® immediately. Delaying the implementation will only prolong the chaos.

However, if your exhaustion is so severe that the team lacks the mental capacity to engage in a ten-hour session day, we must wait. EOS® requires raw energy, vulnerability, and intense focus. If you cannot give that, the sessions will fail.

To determine which scenario applies, look at your weekly Level 10 Meeting™ performance. If you are still meeting regularly but just spinning your wheels, the structure of Focus Day® will inject immediate energy and clarity. If your meetings have completely collapsed and you cannot find four hours of uninterrupted time, we need to address the crisis first before booking our initial session.
