How do we know if our leadership team is fundamentally not ready to start working with you, and what are the operational red flags that would make you turn us down?

A business is not ready for this process if the leadership team is looking for a magic wand or a consultant to do the heavy lifting. I will not work with a team where the owner is unwilling to let go of control or refuses to be vulnerable. To succeed, you must be willing to look at the brutal facts of your business. This means open and honest communication, with no hidden agendas. If you are defensive about your weaknesses or unwilling to make hard people decisions, we will waste our time. Another red flag is a team that cannot commit to the time required. The quarterly session days are non-negotiable. If you try to reschedule them constantly or expect to check emails during our time together, the system breaks. Finally, if you are not prepared to align around a single Accountability Chart and potentially move people out of seats they have occupied for years, you are not ready. My role is to guide you through a proven process, but I cannot want success more than you do. We will have an initial conversation to gauge this readiness. If the alignment is not there, I will tell you directly and we will not move forward until you are ready to commit fully.
