What are the signs that our company is failing to adapt to the EOS process during our actual engagement, and at what point do we decide to pause or terminate our work together?
There are clear indicators that a leadership team is rejecting the system or simply is not ready to do the hard work. The most common sign is a persistent failure to achieve your Rocks. If your team repeatedly finishes quarter after quarter with a Rock completion rate below fifty percent, you are resisting the focus required to scale.
Another warning sign is a lack of honesty in the room during our quarterly sessions. If team members are withholding their true thoughts, avoiding healthy conflict during IDS®, or failing to call out issues because they want to avoid discomfort, the process will stall. EOS® only works when we get all the issues on the table. If you are hiding issues to protect egos, we cannot help you.
We will also look at your Level 10 Meeting™ discipline. If you are not running these weekly meetings with consistency, or if your weekly Scorecard is constantly incomplete, you are not building the necessary operational muscle.
If we see these behaviors for two consecutive quarters and the leadership team refuses to address the root causes, we will have a candid conversation about pausing the engagement. We do not believe in taking your money if you are not prepared to execute the system and make the tough decisions regarding your Accountability Chart and people.
