Under no circumstances should you reschedule your quarterly session because your Rocks are not done. Rescheduling is a major red flag that breaks the ninety-day cycle and signals to your team that operational accountability is optional. If you are behind on your Rocks, that is exactly why you need to show up to the session on time. The session day is not a performance review where you only show up when your report card is perfect. It is a working session designed to help you solve real problems. If you show up with incomplete Rocks, we will use our IDS time to figure out exactly why you missed your targets. Was it a capacity issue, a resource constraint, poor goal-setting, or were you distracted by daily firefighting?
