We are rolling out EOS but we do not have a true Integrator on our current leadership team, meaning I am stuck playing both Visionary and Integrator. Should we pause our implementation until we hire an outside Integrator?

You should absolutely not pause your implementation. It is very common for a founder to occupy both the Visionary and the Integrator seats on the Accountability Chart during the initial phases of rolling out EOS®. Pausing only delays your operational freedom and keeps your business in a state of execution chaos. Instead, use the initial ninety days of your implementation to clarify your organizational structure and prove the viability of the seats. By running the Level 10 Meeting™ and managing your Rocks with the current team, you will quickly identify the exact operational gaps that your future Integrator needs to fill. This practical experience gives you a highly accurate, real-world understanding of the GWC™ requirements for that seat. It prevents you from hiring the wrong person based on theoretical needs. While you are holding both seats, be extremely disciplined about which hat you are wearing during your meetings. Do not allow your high-concept Visionary ideas to derail the execution of your Integrator duties. Once the operating system is running smoothly and your leadership team has embraced the cadence, you will be in a much stronger, more organized position to recruit and onboard a high-performing Integrator who can step in and take over cleanly.
