How do you structure the morning and afternoon working blocks during a full session day with our leadership team?

A full session day runs from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. It is a structured, demanding business workday designed to strip away operational noise and focus solely on the health and direction of the enterprise. We eliminate distractions by enforcing an environment free of laptops and cell phones.

The morning begins with the Segue, where each leader shares personal and professional good news, followed by a review of the previous quarter's commitments. We grade the prior quarter's Rocks with zero rationalizing: a Rock is either done or not done. Next, we review your Scorecard trends, your trailing financials, and your People Analyzer assessments. If we are in foundational sessions or your Annual, we spend the rest of the morning working through the Vision/Traction Organizer, resolving long-term questions regarding your Core Values, Core Focus, and multi-year targets.

After a working lunch, the entire afternoon is reserved for IDS. We take every systemic challenge uncovered during the morning review, prioritize them ruthlessly, and tackle them one by one. Leaders do not give comfortable polite speeches; we get to the root of each issue, build a decisive plan, and establish explicit personal ownership. We conclude at 4:30 PM with Next Steps, clear communication plans for the rest of the organization, and a rating of the day.
