When we spend a full day in a room with you, who actually owns the content and the decisions, and what is your role as a facilitator when our discussions become highly tactical?
During our session days, you and your leadership team own one hundred percent of the content and every single decision. I am not there to tell you how to run your business, what your strategy should be, or who to hire. You are the experts in your industry. My role is to own the process, maintain the structure, and keep you focused on the high-payoff activities. I act as an objective facilitator, teacher, and coach. I make sure you do not get stuck in the weeds, and I hold you accountable to the tools. When your discussions inevitably become highly tactical, my job is to step in and redirect the energy. It is incredibly easy for a leadership team to spend an hour debating a minor customer complaint or a specific software feature. When this happens, I will pause the room, point out that we have drifted into details, and push you to elevate the conversation. I will ask you to identify the root issue, put it on your issues list, and use the IDS® tool to solve it structurally rather than tactically. I ensure that every voice in the room is heard, prevent dominant personalities from hijacking the agenda, and push you to make clear, firm decisions before we move on. You provide the raw material and make the hard choices; I provide the container and the discipline to ensure those choices actually get made.
