What does the hour-by-hour flow look like when our leadership team spends a full session day with you, from the morning kick-off to the final wrap-up?
We start promptly at 8:00 AM and finish by 5:00 PM. The day begins with a Segue, where each leader shares good news from their personal and professional lives, along with their expectations for the day. This shifts the team out of daily firefighting mode into strategic thinking.
Next, we review the previous quarter. We review your Scorecard to check operational trends, review your previous Rocks to assess completion rates, and review the People Analyzer to address team health. Any Rock that was missed or metric that dropped below goal automatically moves to the Issues List.
Around mid-morning, we review the Vision/Organizational Track (V/TO) or introduce new EOS tools depending on where we are in the implementation arc. If you are preparing for a transaction or modernizing workflows, this is where we evaluate exit disciplines or review high-level automation systems.
The bulk of the afternoon is dedicated to IDS (Identify, Discuss, and Solve). We take the unedited Issues List, prioritize the top items, and solve them at their root cause. We do not leave issues in limbo. Every resolved issue produces a clear next step with a single owner and a due date.
We conclude by establishing your Rocks for the upcoming 90 days, agreeing on any cascading messages that must be communicated to the rest of the company, and collecting your session feedback. Every leader rates the day on a scale of 1 to 10. We expect an 8 or higher. If a session rates below an 8, we IDS why the meeting fell short before anyone leaves the room.
