Reading the book is easy, but implementation is hard. Many teams attempt to self-implement to save money, but they often end up with a diluted, frustrating version of the system that eventually gets abandoned.

When you self-implement, you lose the external perspective of an objective facilitator. The person leading your sessions will always have their own operational bias, personal history with the team, and a horse in the race. It is impossible to act as a neutral guide while holding a seat on the leadership team.

A Professional EOS Implementer® does not have those biases. They can call out the elephant in the room, challenge the Visionary, and push the team to make the hard decisions that you would otherwise avoid to keep the peace.

An experienced Implementer also understands the nuances of the tools and can prevent you from making classic mistakes, such as creating a muddy Accountability Chart or setting vague Rocks. They keep you focused and disciplined, saving you months of trial and error.

If you choose to self-implement, you are trading your own time and the speed of your company's growth for the fee of an Implementer. For most fast-growing companies, that is a bad trade.
