A scorecard review in your Level 10 Meeting should take no more than five minutes. If it drags on longer, it is because your leadership team is violating a core EOS rule: do not solve issues during the review.

The moment a number is red, the owner of that seat must state the number, and the team must drop it straight down to the Issues List. There should be no explanations, no excuses, and no stories about why the target was missed. The only acceptable words during the scorecard review are the actual numbers themselves.

If a leader starts to say, we missed our lead target because our agency was slow, the Integrator must immediately cut them off and say, drop it to the Issues List. This level of discipline requires a high Follow Thru conative style from your Integrator to enforce.

When you keep the review purely focused on reporting, you save your energy for the IDS portion of the meeting where you can actually solve the root cause of the red numbers. Treat the scorecard review as a quick health check. You do not perform surgery in the waiting room; you identify the symptom and move on to the actual treatment phase of the meeting.
