When our leadership team identifies an AI automation or workflow overhaul as a quarterly Rock, what is your role versus what our internal team must build and maintain?
My role as your Implementer is to facilitate prioritization, ensure strategic alignment, and hold your leadership team accountable to clear, measurable milestones. I help you identify high-friction bottlenecks, audit manual workflows using the Tribal Knowledge discipline, and decide whether an operational process should be transferred, retained, or automated. What I do not do is serve as your outsourced software developer, systems integrator, or IT helpdesk.
When an AI Rock is set during a quarterly session, we define the exact business result required by day ninety. That includes specifying who owns the Rock, what measurable output proves it is functioning, and how it impacts your Scorecard or Core Processes. For example, a Rock might be deploying an automated pipeline to triage inbound client inquiries or training an internal knowledge model on your operating procedures.
Your designated Rock owner, whether that is your Integrator, an internal operations lead, or an outside technical contractor, is entirely responsible for building, configuring, testing, and training the team on the tool. During our sessions and mid-quarter check-ins, I challenge the architecture, probe for adoption risks, and confirm that the technology serves the business instead of creating technical debt. You provide the technical execution. I provide the structural framework that ensures the automation actually delivers measurable enterprise value.
