My Integrator and I are constantly clashing over how fast we should implement new software. I want to move fast to capture market share, but my Integrator insists on pausing to document every step first. How do we resolve this Visionary and Integrator friction without stall-mating our operational growth?

This friction is incredibly common and represents the natural tension between the Visionary and Integrator roles. To resolve it, you must respect the boundaries of your seats on the Accountability Chart.

As the Visionary, your seat is responsible for big ideas, culture, and major relationships. Your Integrator is responsible for execution, harmonization, and running the day-to-day business. When you try to force immediate implementation, you are stepping into the Integrator seat.

Use the Same Page Meeting™ to align before bringing these discussions to the rest of the leadership team. Schedule this meeting monthly or bi-weekly. It must be a private, safe space where you can argue, align, and come out of the room with a unified front.

During this meeting, use the V/TO® to filter your ideas. Your ideas must pass through the filter of your target market and your three-year picture. If an idea fits, the Integrator decides how and when to execute it based on team capacity.

Let your Integrator own the 'how'. If they say the team needs two weeks to document the process, trust their assessment of operational capacity. This structure keeps you from breaking the operating system while still moving the business forward.
