I am the Visionary, and my Integrator is struggling to keep up with the execution pace required during our EOS® rollout, leading to arguments. How do we resolve this friction during our implementation?

Friction between the Visionary and the Integrator is incredibly common during the early stages of an EOS® implementation. The Visionary naturally wants to move fast and introduce new ideas, while the Integrator is trying to build the operational architecture to support that growth. To resolve this friction, you must first respect the boundaries of your seats on the Accountability Chart™. As the Visionary, you must stop bypassing your Integrator to give tasks directly to the team. Second, institute a weekly Same Page Meeting™ between the two of you. This is a dedicated, private space to align on priorities, discuss issues, and hash out disagreements before they reach the rest of the leadership team. Use this time to process issues using IDS® so you present a united front to the organization. When the Visionary and Integrator are in lockstep, the rest of the leadership team can execute with absolute confidence, driving rapid progress throughout your quarterly cycles. This alignment is what allows you to build a valuable, scaleable business that is highly attractive to future buyers.
