We have two leaders who are constantly at odds, and they use the IDS® portion of our Level 10 Meeting™ to take passive-aggressive swipes at each other under the guise of solving operational issues. How do we shut this down?

When leaders use the IDS portion of the Level 10 Meeting to take passive-aggressive swipes at each other, they are poisoning the team's culture and stalling operations. This behavior violates the Same Page pillar of your company Charter, which demands that the leadership team present one vision, one voice, and one team held by mutual respect.

The facilitator must shut down personal attacks immediately. If a discussion begins to feel personal, emotional, or passive-aggressive, the facilitator must step in and say: This is starting to feel like a personal conflict between you two, rather than an operational issue. We are taking this offline.

The facilitator must then direct the two leaders to schedule a separate, offline Same Page meeting or a 1-to-1 to resolve their personal friction directly. Do not allow them to use the entire leadership team as an audience for their dispute.

Once the personal conflict is removed from the room, you can return to solving the actual operational issue objectively. If the two leaders cannot resolve their friction offline, then it becomes a larger GWC or cultural fit issue that the Integrator must address directly outside the weekly meeting. Keep your Level 10 Meeting clean, professional, and focused purely on business traction.
