As a Visionary, I am fully bought into EOS®, but my Integrator is struggling to keep up with the structured discipline required to run the tools. How do we resolve this implementation bottleneck?
A Visionary cannot force an Integrator to be organized. The very definition of the Integrator seat is to hold the company together and run the day-to-day operations with discipline. If your Integrator is struggling to maintain the EOS® cadence, you have a structural problem that will halt your progress. First, you must have a Same Page Meeting™ to diagnose the root cause. Is it a capacity issue, or is it a GWC™ issue? If they get it and want it but do not have the capacity, you may need to strip away some of their direct reports or operational tasks so they can focus on executing the operating system. However, if they do not truly get or want the discipline required to run the Level 10 Meeting™ or hold the team accountable, you have a seat alignment problem. You cannot play the role of the Integrator for them, or you will pull yourself back into the daily grind. Be honest about whether you have the right person in the seat to scale the company and prepare it for an exit.
