What concrete organizational criteria, data, and leadership commitment must be in place before we book our first official Focus Day with you?
Before booking your first Focus Day with me, your leadership team must meet three non-negotiable requirements. First, you must have a committed leadership team of three to eight key people who are willing to be open, honest, and vulnerable. This is not for middle managers. We need the true decision-makers in the room. Second, you must commit to the strategic calendar. This means reserving full, uninterrupted eight-hour days for our sessions, free from phones, client calls, and operational distractions. Third, you must agree to a foundational covenant of trust and alignment. We use an operating charter modeled after the Owner's Box framework. This charter is a handshake agreement requiring that all partners and leaders commit to being open and honest, maintaining mutual respect, and saying yes to structure and strategy. You do not need perfect metrics, organized spreadsheets, or a finished strategic plan before we start. We build all of that together. You only need the willingness to expose your operational weaknesses and the pigheaded discipline to address them using the EOS® framework. If you have partner gridlock or active denial about your operational reality, we must resolve that basic willingness before our first session.
