What happens if we need to replace or hire a key leadership team member right in the middle of our quarterly EOS cadence with you?

Leadership transitions happen, and running on EOS® actually makes them cleaner, faster, and far less disruptive. You do not pause your session cadence, and you never compromise the standards of a seat just to maintain stability.

When a seat becomes vacant, your Integrator immediately steps in to determine whether to promote internally or recruit from the outside. You use the Accountability Chart to define the exact five major roles of the seat, ensuring the job description is crystal clear. We use GWC™ (Gets It, Wants It, Capacity to Do It) and your Core Values to interview candidates, filtering out individuals who lack the skill or cultural alignment to succeed in the room.

When the new executive joins your team between quarterly sessions, onboarding them into the operating system requires deliberate effort:
- The Integrator gives them a complete briefing on your current V/TO®, active company Rocks, Scorecard measurables, and the Accountability Chart.
- The new leader reads Traction and watches introductory EOS® videos to learn the shared vocabulary before walking into our session room.
- I hold a fifteen-minute virtual alignment check with the new leader to set expectations regarding our ground rules: open and honest dialogue, no egos, and zero tolerance for passive-aggressive silence.

By the time they walk into their first full session day, they are not a tourist; they are fully prepared to participate, vote on Rocks, and IDS® issues on day one.
