Our team is completely remote, and our weekly Level 10 Meeting has lost its edge. People are clearly multitasking, cameras are on but eyes are wandering, and the energy feels flat. How do we bring the intensity of an in-person war room to a fully remote Level 10 Meeting?

Remote Level 10 Meeting™ fatigue is usually caused by a lack of strict engagement rules and poor visual management. When people multitask, they are treating the meeting as a passive status update rather than an active operational workspace. To bring the intensity back, you must establish clear, non-negotiable standards for your remote setup. First, enforce a cameras-on policy with zero exceptions. Every team member must be framed correctly, showing their head and shoulders to maintain visual connection. Second, ban all other browser tabs and notifications. The only screen open should be your Level 10 Meeting™ software or document. If a leader is looking away from their camera, the facilitator must call them out immediately. Third, rotate facilitation or have the Integrator call on people directly during the IDS® portion. Do not wait for volunteers to speak. If a topic is being debated, call on the quietest person in the virtual room to give their perspective. Finally, use a shared digital board that everyone can see and edit in real time. This keeps eyes focused on the same page. If the remote meeting still feels flat, treat that as a structural issue. Bring it to the Issues List and IDS® it. If your team cannot focus for ninety minutes online, it means you are not discussing the right issues or your leaders are not fully bought into the process.
