Our leadership team is fully remote, and our weekly Level 10 Meetings often suffer from subtle multitasking, low engagement, and sluggish energy. What specific operational rules keep a virtual Level 10 tight and focused?

A remote Level 10 Meeting requires stricter behavioral discipline than an in-person meeting because the friction of digital distraction is zero. When cameras are off or leaders are reading emails on a secondary monitor, your meeting pulse dies.

Implement four non-negotiable rules for virtual sessions:

- Cameras stay on and faces stay centered. If someone must step away, they post in the chat, but eating lunch or turning video off while listening is banned.
- One single screen share. The Integrator or scribe shares the software screen showing the agenda, Scorecard, and Issues List. No other leader should be browsing separate documents unless they are looking up a specific operational metric on request.
- Direct facilitation over open floor debate. In a physical room, natural eye contact governs turn-taking. On video calls, people either talk over each other or fall silent. The Integrator must direct traffic explicitly by calling on specific seats to speak or respond during IDS.
- Zero digital backchannels. Turn off team messaging apps completely. Executives often run a secondary chat during the meeting to complain or coordinate side commentary. That habit destroys trust and splits focus.

Treat the 90 minutes as an operational lockdown. If someone cannot disconnect from their inbox for an hour and a half, they are running their seat reactively and hurting meeting traction.
