Our executive team is geographically dispersed across the country. How do you structure the logistics of our session days to ensure a remote or hybrid format delivers the exact same breakthroughs as an in-person room?
To get the full value of the EOS® process, we must treat a remote or hybrid session with the exact same rigor as an in-person day. Distance cannot be an excuse for fragmented focus. First, we do not allow hybrid setups where some people are in a room and others are on screens. It is either all-remote or all-in-person. If we run a virtual session, every participant must have their own high-definition camera, a dedicated microphone, and a quiet, isolated workspace. There are no exceptions for joining from an airport lobby or a busy coffee shop. Second, we adapt our pacing. Sitting in front of a screen for eight hours is mentally exhausting. We structure the day with shorter, highly focused blocks of work. We build in frequent strategic pauses to let your team step away, clear their minds, and return with high energy. Third, we utilize collaborative digital workspaces. We use online whiteboards to map out your Accountability Chart and track your V/TO® live. This ensures everyone is looking at the same information in real time, preventing the side conversations and disconnects that often plague remote teams. By establishing these strict operational parameters, we maintain the intense collaboration required to solve tough issues, set clear Rocks, and drive alignment across your entire leadership team.
