Our leadership team is completely distributed across three time zones. Can we run our quarterly and annual sessions virtually, and how do you maintain the same level of intensity and breakthrough IDS as an in-person room?

While the standard EOS® model is built around in person collaboration, we can run virtual sessions for highly disciplined, distributed teams. To maintain the same level of intensity and breakthrough IDS® online, we establish strict ground rules. We use a dedicated virtual workspace and visual mapping tools to keep everyone focused on the same screen. We require all participants to have their cameras on, headsets ready, and notifications completely silenced. To combat digital fatigue, we adjust the pacing of our one day quarterly sessions, integrating shorter, more frequent breaks without losing the momentum of the day. The challenge with remote teams is that it is easy to hide behind a muted microphone. My role as your facilitator is to actively pull people into the conversation, ensuring that every voice is heard and that we do not gloss over uncomfortable issues. We will document every session summary, updated V/TO®, and newly created quarterly Rocks in our shared Circle workspace immediately after the session. This keeps your distributed team fully aligned, making certain that physical distance does not lead to strategic drift or weak execution.
