As we scale our operations with AI, we find ourselves hiring more technical prompt engineers and AI operators who do not necessarily align with our established Core Values. How do we protect our company culture on our V/TO® when the technical skills we desperately need are in such short supply?

No matter how advanced a candidate's technical skills are, hiring someone who does not align with your Core Values is a strategic mistake that will eventually destroy your company culture and derail your traction. There are no exceptions to this rule.

You must use your People Analyzer™ to evaluate every potential hire. If a highly skilled AI developer or prompt engineer does not consistently exhibit your Core Values, do not hire them. A culture fit is a non-negotiable requirement for joining your team.

To solve the talent shortage, look at your Accountability Chart and consider whether you can separate the highly technical work from your core operational seats. You may not need a full-time, in-house AI developer who fits your culture. Instead, you can hire external consultants or specialized agencies to handle the technical heavy lifting, while your culture-aligned team members manage the workflows and strategic direction.

Additionally, invest in training your existing, culture-aligned team members. Many modern AI tools are designed for non-technical users. It is often much easier to teach your existing, high-performing employees how to use AI tools than it is to fix a culture mismatch. By protecting your Core Values and utilizing external technical resources where necessary, you maintain a strong, aligned culture while successfully scaling your AI operations.
