What does the actual hour-by-hour sequence of a quarterly session day look like, and how do we prevent it from dissolving into a standard operational meeting?

A standard quarterly session day is a highly structured, seven-hour event designed to keep you focused on the big picture. We begin at eight in the morning with a check-in to clear our minds and share personal and professional wins. Next, we review your previous quarter, checking the completion of your Rocks and reviewing your Scorecard metrics. This is not a time for excuses, just a simple yes or no on whether you hit your targets. We then review your V/TO® to ensure your long-term vision remains aligned. After a short break, we spend the bulk of our day, usually three to four hours, in IDS®. This is where we solve your most critical organizational issues. We do not allow this day to become a standard status update or a technical support meeting. If someone tries to drag the room down into minor operational details, I will step in as your facilitator and redirect the conversation back to the strategic level. We conclude the day by setting your new Rocks for the next ninety days, evaluating the session, and assigning next steps. Every minute of this schedule is optimized to ensure you walk out with absolute clarity and a concrete plan.
