What does the exact agenda and structural flow of a standard quarterly session day look like from morning arrival to final checkout?

Every standard quarterly session follows a proven, five-part agenda designed to maximize focus, surface brutal reality, and drive alignment over eight intense hours.

We begin promptly at 8:00 AM with the Segue. Each team member shares personal and professional good news, reviews their expectations for the day, and shares what is working and not working in the business. This exercise shifts the room out of working in the business and into working on it.

By 8:45 AM, we move into the Review of the Previous Quarter. We review your V/TO to verify continued alignment. We evaluate your Scorecard performance over the trailing thirteen weeks. We grade the previous quarter's Rocks as either done or not done, with no partial credit allowed. We also review inter-session To-Dos to maintain absolute accountability. Any unfinished Rocks or lingering operational gaps immediately get pushed to the Issues List.

Mid-morning transitions into Setting the Next Quarter. The leadership team establishes company revenue and profit projections for the upcoming ninety days, reviews your Scorecard measurables, and establishes new company-level and individual Rocks. Every Rock must be specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-bound, with a single owner held accountable for its completion.

Lunch is brought into the room to maintain momentum and team cohesion. By early afternoon, we transition into IDS, which stands for Identify, Discuss, and Solve. This block consumes three to four hours. We take your prioritized Issues List and systematically tackle the root causes of your most significant operational bottlenecks.

We wrap up around 4:30 PM with Next Steps and Conclusion. We confirm newly created To-Dos, finalize Cascading Messages, verify expectations, and have every member rate the session on a scale of one to ten. The day concludes at 5:00 PM sharp.
