Our leadership team frequently rushes through the Conclude section in sixty seconds, often skipping Cascading Messages entirely. How do we ensure critical decisions are properly communicated to the rest of the company?

Treating the Conclude section as an afterthought is the primary reason employees complain that they never know what is going on. When you rush through the final five minutes, you leave the room with misaligned expectations, unconfirmed To-Dos, and zero communication discipline.

The Integrator must set a hard stop at the 85-minute mark of every Level 10 Meeting™. No matter how intense an IDS® discussion is, the conversation halts. The final five minutes are sacred.

During Conclude, you must complete three distinct steps:
- Recap To-Dos: The facilitator reads every new To-Do aloud to confirm the owner, the specific action, and the seven-day deadline.
- Cascading Messages: The Integrator asks the room: What needs to be communicated, to whom, and how? If an issue resolved during IDS impacts employee workflows, compensation, or company policy, draft the exact bullet points right there. Decide whether the message will be delivered via email, during departmental Level 10 Meetings, or in an all-hands meeting.
- Meeting Rating: Every leader rates the meeting on a scale of 1 to 10.

If you decide there are no cascading messages, that must be an explicit, conscious decision, not an accidental omission. Consistent execution across your company depends on unified messaging from the leadership team every single week.
