To scale your business for a clean exit, your proprietary IP is your most valuable asset. If your team is pasting client data, proprietary code, or unique processes into free, public AI tools, you are actively leaking your enterprise value. You must address this within your EOS Process Component. Start by documenting clear guardrails in your Core Processes. Define what data is permitted to enter external tools and what must remain locked down. The solution is not to ban AI, but to provide a secure environment. Implement private enterprise instances of these models where the terms of service explicitly state that your data is not used for training. When evaluating team members on their GWC for their Seats, their capacity must now include data hygiene. If they cannot use these tools safely, they do not have the capacity for the Seat. Protect your IP fiercely because a sophisticated buyer will perform deep technical due diligence, and any sign of leaked proprietary knowledge will severely discount your valuation.
