To break through analysis paralysis, you must apply the operational discipline of EOS® to your technology roadmap. Start by prioritizing use cases for AI that improve operational efficiency, freeing employees from low-value tasks for higher-value strategic work. Do not chase speculative revenue ideas or shiny new product lines until your core business is running like a finely tuned machine.

Since employees are a major P&L item and much of their time is spent on low-value tasks, prioritize using AI to increase employee productivity as your starting point. Look at your Accountability Chart and identify the most cumbersome processes that keep your people bogged down in administrative busywork.

Put these ideas through the IDS® process during your next quarterly meeting. Pick the top two or three initiatives that will yield the biggest bottleneck reduction or margin improvement, and make them your quarterly Rocks. By focusing your resources on a few high-leverage internal projects, you will see a direct, measurable improvement in your EBITDA and operational capacity.
