The primary purpose of your weekly Level 10 Meeting™ is to maintain traction and solve immediate, short-term operational issues. When massive strategic questions hijack your meeting, you are failing to compartmentalize your business challenges.

To protect your weekly pulse, you must use a strict filter during the prioritization phase. If an issue requires a deep strategic review, a pivot in your V/TO®, or a change in company policy, it does not belong in the sixty-minute IDS® block.

The facilitator must identify these long-term topics and move them to the long-term Issues List. These parked issues should be addressed during your quarterly or annual planning sessions, where you have the time and space to dive deep without rushing.

If an issue is urgent but too complex for the weekly meeting, schedule a separate, offline session with only the necessary team members. This keeps your weekly meeting focused on the immediate operational hurdles that are preventing your team from hitting their weekly numbers and quarterly Rocks.
