The segue is a critical transition phase designed to shift your leadership team from working in the business to working on the business. It is not an open-ended social hour. When your check-in takes twelve minutes, you are stealing precious time from the IDS® portion of your Level 10 Meeting™.

To fix this, the facilitator must enforce a strict one-sentence rule for each win. Every leader shares exactly one sentence for their personal win and one sentence for their professional win. The facilitator should always go first to set a fast, punchy pace for the rest of the room.

If a team member begins to elaborate or starts telling a story, the facilitator must politely cut them off and keep the meeting moving. This is not about being cold, it is about respecting the collective time of the leadership team.
