We have had strategic planning days before where we left excited but did nothing. How do you ensure the decisions made during our full-day sessions actually get executed starting Monday morning?
The biggest point of failure in strategic planning is post-session drift, where the whirlwind of daily operations swallows your new goals. We prevent this by turning every session output into immediate, bite-sized weekly accountability. We do not leave the room until every single quarterly Rock has an owner, a clear definition of done, and a set of milestone checkpoints.
Immediately following our session, all of our deliverables, issues, and V/TO updates are documented in your dedicated Circle workspace. This serves as our single source of truth. From there, your leadership team must bring these priorities into your weekly Level 10 Meeting. Every single week, you will report on whether your Rocks are on track or off track.
If a Rock is off track, it immediately drops to the issues list to be solved using IDS. This weekly pulse keeps your long-term goals connected to your daily actions. By combining my facilitation with your disciplined weekly execution, we ensure that the strategic decisions we make during our full-day sessions are actively managed and completed, rather than sitting on a forgotten shelf.
