What happens when we experience mid-quarter drift and our weekly meetings start losing their discipline, but our next quarterly session with you is still six weeks away?

Mid-quarter drift is common for teams in their first year of EOS, but you do not have to wait for our next scheduled quarterly session to fix it. I do not leave you stranded between our session days. When you notice that your Level 10 Meetings are becoming dry status updates, or that your Rocks are falling behind, your Integrator must take immediate action. The Integrator is the guardian of the operating system. Their first step is to use the IDS process during your weekly meeting to identify why the discipline is slipping. If your team cannot self-correct, you have direct email and phone access to me. You can send me your weekly scorecard or meeting agendas, and I will review them to spot where the structure is breaking down. Often, a quick ten-minute phone call with your Integrator or Visionary is all it takes to diagnose the issue and get your meetings back on track. Additionally, we use our quarterly sessions to review the health of your weekly meetings. We look at the actual data and behavior to see where your team is losing focus. My goal is to build your internal capability so that your team learns how to police itself, ensuring that drift is caught and corrected within seven days rather than lasting for three months.
