When we leave a full-day quarterly session, the list of to-dos and follow-ups can feel overwhelming. What is your exact framework for helping us prioritize post-session homework so we do not freeze up during the first week back?
It is common to leave a full-day session with a long list of to-dos, updated Rocks, and operational changes. To prevent paralysis, we follow a strict post-session discipline. Immediately following our session, I document all summaries, updated V/TO® details, and critical action items directly in your dedicated Circle.so workspace. This serves as your single source of truth.
Your first priority during the first week back is to share the output with the rest of your organization. You do this by cascading the updated priorities and the Accountability Chart to your teams. The Integrator plays a critical role here, ensuring that the individual Rocks are mapped directly to weekly Level 10 Meetings.
You do not need to tackle everything at once. Focus only on your individual Rocks and the immediate to-dos that were assigned during the session. Everything else goes onto your long-term Issues List to be solved when the time is right. By focusing only on your designated quarterly priorities and utilizing your weekly meeting pulse to track progress, the overwhelm disappears, and the execution becomes a natural part of your weekly operational routine.
