What exact actions do you expect my leadership team to take in the first two weeks following a session day to ensure our V/TO® and Rocks do not just sit on a shelf?
The real magic of EOS® does not happen during our full-day sessions. It happens in the ninety days between them. To ensure your V/TO® and Rocks do not end up forgotten, your leadership team must take immediate action in the first two weeks following our session.
First, every leader must share the company Rocks and updated Accountability Chart with their respective teams. Communication must cascade down quickly so the entire organization is aligned on our quarterly priorities.
Second, each leader must build out their individual execution plan for their Rocks. This means breaking large quarterly goals into weekly milestones. They must integrate these milestones into their departmental Level 10 Meeting™ agendas.
Third, you must update your weekly Scorecard to reflect any new metrics we agreed on. This ensures you have real-time visibility into your progress from week one.
My role between sessions is to act as a sounding board, not a micro-manager. I am available to help you troubleshoot obstacles, but your team must run the system. By establishing these habits immediately after our session day, you build the execution discipline required to hit your targets and maintain momentum.
