How do we coach our Integrator to find their teeth and ruthlessly police the agenda?

The Integrator must own the Level 10 Meeting™ facilitation with a firm hand. If your Integrator is too polite to cut off rambling leaders or enforce the agenda, they are failing to protect the team's most valuable asset: their time. A weak facilitator allows the weekly pulse to dissolve into a series of long-winded updates, leaving no room for real problem-solving.

To coach your Integrator to facilitate with authority, they must understand that ruthlessness in a meeting is actually a form of respect. Cutting off a rambling leader is not rude; it is the ultimate respect for the rest of the team's time.

Give your Integrator permission to use direct, active language. They should practice phrases like, "We are over time, drop it to the list," or "That is a great point, but it is not on the agenda today, let us move on."

They must also become a master of the clock. If the scorecard review is scheduled for five minutes, it must end at five minutes. If a leader tries to explain a red metric, the Integrator must cut them off immediately with a simple, "Drop it."

As the Visionary or business owner, you must back your Integrator's authority. If they cut you off, accept it gracefully. When the rest of the team sees the owner respecting the Integrator's control of the room, they will quickly fall into line, and your weekly pulse will become a tight, execution-focused machine.
