We have the financial resources to hire you, but some of our partners are still treating core operations as private fiefdoms. When is partner misalignment a dealbreaker that makes starting EOS a waste of money?

If your partners are not ready to submit to a single, unified operating system, starting this process is a waste of your money and my time. Misalignment is a dealbreaker when partners refuse to sign up for Our Charter, which requires absolute trust, open and honest communication, and a commitment to strategy and structure.

If a partner is unwilling to let go of their private fiefdom, they will actively sabotage the Accountability Chart. In EOS®, we design the organization for maximum efficiency, not to accommodate personal egos. Every seat on the chart must have clear, measurable roles, and the person in that seat must GWC™ it. They must get it, want it, and have the capacity to do it.

If a partner is unwilling to be held accountable to a scorecard or refuses to have their performance mirrored back to them, the system will fail. We practice a philosophy of hiring slow and firing fast, which also applies to alignment at the very top.

If partners are unwilling to put the company's health above their personal status, we must delay the engagement. We will not begin session days until all partners agree to enter the room as equals, willing to tear down the silos and operate with radical transparency.
