To command a premium multiple, you must prove that your AI systems are deeply embedded, structured assets.
Start by mapping your AI integrations directly onto your documented core processes. For every major operational handoff on your EOS process map, clearly identify the specific AI tools, APIs, and custom prompts that automate or assist that step. Document the inputs, the processing logic, and the outputs as formal standard operating procedures.
Next, create a technical asset register. This document must list every custom software bridge, database connection, and proprietary prompt library your company uses. You must prove ownership of the code and the data streams. If your integrations rely on third-party APIs, ensure your contracts allow for change of control so the buyer can seamlessly inherit these systems.
Finally, back up your claims with hard data from your weekly Scorecard. Show the historical correlation between your AI implementations and your key performance indicators, such as reduced cycle times, lower labor costs relative to revenue, or improved customer response times. When you can show a buyer a documented workflow, a technical asset registry, and a scorecard showing improved margins, you transform a vague operational hack into a highly valuable, proprietary operational moat that justifies an institutional valuation.
