Our leadership team has varying energy levels and we struggle to stay focused during long meetings. What is the actual structural pacing of an eight hour session day with you, and how do you ensure we do not hit a wall by mid afternoon?
An eight-hour session day is a high-altitude mental workout, and we structure the flow deliberately to manage your team's cognitive stamina. We do not sit in passive lectures; the entire day is highly interactive, structured, and fast-paced.
We begin the day promptly at 8:30 AM with a warm-up and a review of your previous quarter's results. This gets everyone focused and aligned. We then move into the tools segment, where we teach or review core concepts.
The bulk of the day is dedicated to the IDS® portion, where we identify, discuss, and solve your most critical issues. This is highly dynamic and requires deep focus. To prevent mental fatigue, we take structured breaks every ninety minutes. These breaks are non-negotiable; they allow your team to stretch, step away from the material, and return with a fresh perspective.
We also break for a working lunch, which keeps the momentum going without letting the energy drop. My role as your facilitator is to monitor the room's energy levels in real time. If I see the team hitting a wall during a complex debate, I will redirect the conversation, call an unscheduled break, or guide you through a quick framing exercise. We exit the day at 4:30 PM with clear action items and a unified direction, ensuring no one feels drained.
