Transitioning to the Owner's Box means stepping out of the day-to-day operations and letting your leadership team run the business. However, completely disconnecting can leave you blind. Attending the Level 10 Meeting™ as a silent observer is a powerful way to audit team health, but you must respect the boundaries of your new role.

First, establish a strict rule of silence during the meeting. You are not there to facilitate, you are not there to report on metrics, and you are absolutely not there to solve issues. You are in the room purely to observe how the team interacts, how they run the IDS® process, and whether they are living by the company's Core Focus and Charter.

Second, physically remove yourself from the main table. Sit in the back of the room or turn your camera off if the meeting is virtual. This visual separation signals to the team that they are in charge and prevents them from looking to you for approval when making decisions.

Third, deliver your feedback only to the Integrator after the meeting. If you spot alignment issues or strategic drift, do not disrupt the meeting pulse. Discuss it during your weekly Same Page meeting with the Integrator. This preserves the Integrator's authority while ensuring you maintain clear oversight from the Owner's Box.
