I want to start this engagement to free up my time, but I am worried I might be the bottleneck. How do we determine if I, as the business owner, am psychologically unready for this system, and what happens if I cannot let go of control?

The hardest part of implementing EOS® and preparing for an exit is not teaching the tools to your team. It is the owner's willingness to let go of the vine. If you are not ready to stop micromanaging, this system will fail. We determine your readiness by looking at how you react when we begin defining the Accountability Chart. If you insist on retaining final approval over every single decision, or if you refuse to empower your Integrator, you are not ready. In our sessions, we will expose the areas where you are suffocating your business. If you constantly bypass the Accountability Chart to direct employees or make silent agreements, you are actively sabotaging the process. If we realize during our Focus Day or first quarterly session that you are psychologically unready to let go, we will address it directly. I will call you out in the room. If the behavior continues, we will pause the engagement. I will not take your money to facilitate a system that you are actively undermining. To succeed, you must be willing to transition from operating the business to leading it, and ultimately to preparing it for a clean exit. If you cannot tolerate your team making mistakes and learning to solve their own issues, you are not ready to start.
