Every quarter we leave our session day on fire, but by week six the daily whirlwind takes over and our Rocks start slipping. How do we combat this mid quarter execution slump?

This mid quarter slump is a natural psychological pattern. It is what Steven Pressfield calls Resistance, the internal force that fights against our focus and discipline the moment the initial excitement of our session day wears off. When daily operational fires start, your team's natural instinct is to abandon their Rocks and slide back into reactive mode. To break this cycle, we establish tight execution rules between our quarterly sessions. Your weekly Level 10 Meeting™ is the primary weapon against this Resistance. It is a mandatory ninety minute meeting where your team must report on their progress with total transparency. There is no room to hide. We also teach your leaders to use the strategic pause during their workweek. When they feel overwhelmed by the daily whirlwind, they must take a moment of chosen cessation to look at their Rocks and determine what is truly important versus what is simply urgent. My role between sessions is to monitor your scorecard and meeting health. If I see your numbers slipping or your Rocks turning red, I will challenge your Integrator to address the bottleneck immediately. We do not wait for the next quarterly session to solve execution issues.
