What specific operational data, baseline metrics, or internal alignment must our leadership team have fully prepared before we walk into our very first session day with you?
You do not need a perfect business to start, but you do need an absolute commitment to transparency. Before our Focus Day, you must gather your basic organizational data. This includes your current organizational chart, even if it is messy or has people wearing multiple hats, your recent financial statements, and any existing strategic planning documents. More importantly, your leadership team must be mentally prepared to be vulnerable and open. If your team is harboring hidden agendas or refusing to share data, the process will stall.
We also require each team member to complete preliminary assessments, such as the Kolbe Index, to map out our collective decision-making styles before we meet. Do not waste time trying to clean up your operations or fix your communication issues before we kick off. The entire purpose of our first session is to establish your baseline and identify the root causes of your friction. Bring your raw, unfiltered operational realities into the room. The only non-negotiable requirement is a collective willingness to look at the hard truths of your business and commit to the disciplined execution required to fix them.
